  5. EDIR lets you manipulate MS-DOS directories in a full-screen editor.
  6. The program gives you full control over the order in which the
  7. individual directory entries are stored on disk.  It can sort
  8. directories by filename, extension, date, size, or any other arbitrary
  9. order.  EDIR gives you a number of other facilities to manage your
  10. directories: change filenames, file attributes, date and time stamps on
  11. files.  You can also create, copy, delete, move, and view files in a
  12. convenient manner.
